What I've been up to this summer
This summer has been CRAZY. It's been jam-packed full of school, meeting new people, and hanging out with friends and family. A fine summer, if I do say so myself. Here are some of the things I did:
My friends and I went to see "Legally Blonde The Musical" at the Fox a few weeks ago, and it was so effing good. It just made me happy the whole time I was watching it because everything was just so freaking upbeat and pink. It was so good. Definitely worth my money. It was so funny.
Spenser and I definitely went to the midnight showing of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" when it came out. :) :) :) LOVE.
I've been consuming a tall Java Chip Frappuccino from Starbucks nearly every day this summer. Like seriously, almost every day. Mmm. Speaking of which, I need one right now. Haha.
Among my newest obsessions in Atlanta dining is a sandwich/bakery/coffee place called West Egg. Glen so kindly introduced me to this place for one of our Thursday lunches early in the summer, and I instantly fell in love (as he knew I would) with its quirky charm and delicious food. And they have the best cupcakes in Atlanta. Like seriously. I've eaten a lot of cupcakes in my day, and these are by far the best. Sorry, Mom! Zomg my mouth is watering.
I've recently been able to pick Odin Sphere back up now that classes are over and done with. This is probably the third time I restarted the game, but I'm bound and determined to get past the first character this time.
Also, since I've moved back home, I've been playing Animal Crossing City Folk with my brother and sister. I love playing video games with them.
Spenser has made it a personal responsibility of his to make sure I see all of the best movies of all time. Because apparently I haven't seen any of them. (I can't help it if I like romantic comedies and fantasy stories that don't seem to make this "list"!). Anyway, among those that we've watched this summer include: Edward Scissorhands, Vanilla Sky, Labyrinth, and Pulp Fiction. I've loved them all.
So that's that. That's kind of what I've been up to this summer. It was a good balance of school and non-school. These are some of the things I would have blogged about if I were actually able to at the time. I'm currently in the middle of a two-week break between classes and my fifth co-op semester which will start August 17th. I'm pretty much just doing web stuff and playing video games. :) Love!
