Bee Mine?
As probably not many of you know, I have my own indie shop called This Little Bird. I would give you the URL (oh wait, you can probably guess it), but don't try to go there because ugly stuff will happen. I haven't updated the shop in like, a year or something and my e-commerce software is outdated, and I probably need to reinstall the whole system. Anyway, it's missing crucial functions and stuff. Also, it's ugly. So don't do it. I shall let you know if/when it gets prettied up again.
That being said, I found a sketch for a greeting card that I was thinking about releasing around Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. IT'S SO CUTE. Look at how hard this little bee is trying to get you to say yes!

Also, this card is really no indication of what my products are really like. I never actually released this for sale. I mostly focus on vintage-inspired paper products. Kthxbai.
Sometimes
Sometimes I just don't feel like writing. But I usually regret it later.
So what I did was, I went to Texas. Last week. Didn't mention it, I know, sorry about that. Specifically, we (David and I) went to Auburn to attend his brother's graduation, New Orleans to stay at his grandparent's house for a night, then to Katy, TX (his home town) for two and a half days. It was a lot of fun, and we did a lot of fun things, but I really just don't feel like writing about it.
Today was the first day back at work. Busy, busy, busy. But wow, my bosses are really thankful. Like, wow.
Also, my grades turned out way better than expected. My GPA went up! :)
Major family issues right now, most likely contributing to a majority of my apathetic mood. I have a tendency to repress bad situations. My period contributes the rest.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

OH MY GOODNESS. This movie was absolutely FANTASTIC.
I, of course, loved "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" and I loved "Prince Caspian" equally as much. I did read the book before seeing the movie, and surprisingly, this is one of the fews times that I wasn't disappointed by the movie adaptation. It was SO. GOOD.
But yes, I laughed, I cried. The cast was still amazing. All four of those kids have grown up so much, and I'm still pretty much obsessed with all of them.
Ben Barnes, who played Prince Caspian, did a pretty good job, but I didn't fall in love with him. I didn't feel like his acting was amazing, especially in comparison with the main four. I'm pretty much mesmerized with Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy anyway. Especially the High King Peter. Tee hee hee. How old is he again?
Anyway, though, I'm currently in the middle of reading The Voyage of the Dawn Treader whose film adaptation is set to be released May 7, 2010.
Interesting information that I'm not sure how many of you know already so I hope I'm not insulting your intelligence: the seven books in the series were published out of chronological order. The films are following the order of publication.
Publication order:
C.S. Lewis was such a genius. I'm a sucker for intricately woven and well-planned-out tales of fiction (see: my obsession with Harry Potter).
Sketches
I love looking at other peoples' sketch books! Here are some sketches I made a year or two ago for TLB. I ended up using one of the clouds for a notepad. And will you just LOOK at that little frog? Why is he so cute?!

Is that your lunch?
Whenever I'm walking around with a Starbucks or like a pack of M&Ms around lunch time someone, SOMEONE, always feels the need to ask me, "Is that your lunch?"
WTF? Of course that's not my lunch! Do I LOOK extremely anorexic and malnourished? I don't think I do, thanks.
